January 3rd Lunch + Snow Angels

Well, I'd have to admit that I'm not interested in seeing the zoo in its winter state of deadness. Here's a few restaurants that fit a budget, granted they are all Vietnamese/Chinese so no selection available;

Y2K(across from McMahon)
Some place that's good near the Signal Hill Mall
There is a Gingerbeef in Brentwood

then there are lots of other places that are super easy picks;
Crowfoot: Boston Pizza, Swiss Chalet
Dalhousie: Has a family restaurant
16th Ave(right by the banff Trail Stn): Phils family restaurant
I don't know many others that are open for lunch so feel free to fill in the blanks

Kensington: Broken Plate

Chinatown/surrounding area: many places for dim sum, Hong Kong style cuisine, Japanese cuisine, Vietnamese cuisine, etc. (Plus we can be as loud as we want in the dim sum places! we just add to ambience!)

Also, Kris has the entire day free for us! hurrah!
