I will likely soon have cause to be up in Edmonton shortly! The details are cloudy for the moment, but I'm trying for Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.
Of course, I would love to drop by for a visit to the U A'ers! I don't know if I'll be able to find my way to you guys, or just be hopelessly lost in an unfamiliar city, but that's a worry for later. It is unlikely I will be able to stay for a long period of time, however. But lunch, maybe? Cookies? Coffee? A chat at least.
Hoping to see the Edmontonians soon!

This Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday or Wednesday? If I can put in a vote, come Sunday or Tuesday (although I think Sunday is better for everybody, but don't quote me). And is this going to just be a day trip thing, or will you be overnighting? 'Cause you could totally stay over :o
Still, though, this is made of awesome. I'm sure you'll be able to navigate over to campus or, failing that, Rubin will know some way to get to you.

Scratch "shortly." However, the opportunity exists this entire semester for me.
Here's the news. In my Public Design course, I am paired up with a business from Edmonton. I will need to meet with the guy every so often. The first meeting, he says he will be in town next week. However, I will be working with him through the semester, and will very likely need to meet with him again on several occasions. He may not be able to come to Calgary every time, in which case I'd have to go to him...but he'd be paying for my travel expenses.
Unfortunately, this means there can't be preferential days. :( Those days are my free days (Wednesday is that course, Tuesday is just a day off), and it'd have to ultimately depend on my guy's convenience as well.
Hopefully something will happen!
Totally understand with the inability to pick days. I was just thinking of current schedules, more speciffically this upcoming weekend. So, if it will be later on, circumstances will likely be different anyway on both ends, right? But still, coolbeans!
We'll totally all work something out, I'm sure, as far as meeting up that will work with all of our schedules and stuff. This is kind of exciting :D I look forward to hearing more about it!
(and the overnighting offer is still there, if you need it, from me at least ;) )

GASP! The opportunity for my beloved Natrix to come up here? I would be more than willing to pick you up at the bus station downtown and have you crash at my place pad too!
