The plaque says: Dolce&Gabbana Woman Leather Collection.
...What are the chances that it's an authentic? ;-;
Off to Grandma's
My Chinese is so bad. I can't read the signs.
Some seals that live in the lake.
A calligraphy master writing with his homemade brush, using lake water as ink. Feels like a lost art.
ζδΈε°η. Yum.
The mascots...they're everywhere!
Prayer wheels galore.
Gift shop. Had no money to buy things. :(
Sadly, not a mime.
Foreigners getting a guided tour of the Olympic grounds. We kind of mooched off of their tour. Shhhhh.
Lots of volunteers are on the streets (presumably going from one orientation to the next). Only 4 more days!
...I'm going to go get some Hello Kitty ice cream (it's basically teeny tiny Drumsticks).

Where are the Engrish signs, my dear? Have they all been eradicated? GASP!
Haha... my Chinese is bad too.... The lake stone says something about "flying fish".... but I have no idea what the first and last characters are... Hahaha...
Feel better soon! The climate change from Canada to China makes EVERYONE sick... I'm so bringing ColdFX with me next time I go back.
I'm glad to see that you're having a great time in China! I can't wait for more photos! If you see Adam van Koeverden (HAWT), the Canadian Men's 8 rowing team (HAWTx8!!! EIGHT!!!, Alexandre Depattie (HAWT), or Michael Phelps (just "hot"), try to get an autograph for me/take a photo!!! GASP!
Btw, you're the only one. The other day when I was looking at websites at the library, I was blocked from going to Kris' blog because of "violent content", LOL!
LOL, violent content indeed...
This is sooo cool! Did I mention I was jealous? Well, I still am, haha.
Gorgeous photos, and for a lot of them, they don't seem all too polluted off in the distance. Better place in the country, I'm guessing?
Have you spectated any events yet??
Didya know, I was talking to a friend, and we were saying we'd love to go to the 2010 in Vancouver, get some tickets, catch some shows...and we are such better medal contenders in the Winter Olympics hehe. But oh man, the opening ceremony tickets are like $700+, and probably like the event I'd want to see most--men's gold medal game hockey, of course--over $2000!!! I mean, sure, those are for the best seats, but the crappiest has still got to be several hundred. :(
