Hmm. There's no one I particularly like and watch their films especially for them, but there's many I hate hate HATE! (Tom Cruise, John Travolta, Nicholas Cage, Adam Sandler, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Dillon, Chris Rock, Jennifer Garner somewhat, and some others).
But if I were to choose actors that often impress me, then I'd say: Maggie Smith, Hugh Jackman, Charlize Theron, Meryl Streep, and Brad Pitt, who I must say got close to being blacklisted in the past given that he was so overrated, but has since become quite dynamic and refined.
Shows...this is from last year cuz i haven't watched tv since I left home:
CSI vegas, House, Friends,Family Guy, Simpsons, FOOD TV!!!
Actos:
I hardly know any....there was the phase of Catherine Zeta Jones and Nicole Kidman...they're still cool....but my knowledge hardly goes beyond that...will smith is cool too! random

okay i didn't read comment about 3-4, so I went bonkers with it. So just take the first 3-4 from the list and ignore the rest if you want.
Tom cruise all the bloody way. But really, I would rather pick a favorite director, and that would be Spielberg.
